Understanding of Art 

 

 

Murat Tezcan Demirbas started as a clearly expressionist painter and then turned on to contemporary art decorated with intensive figures. He is permanently in guest of facts what is believed to be completely independent and tries to show that these facts are in reality tend to be dependent with each other via blurred ties. In his thought the social system is made up of a pure collage and our dependency to the system force us to develop a sense of belongingness. Such a state of mind in his painting is equivalent to the exhaustion. In his recent works, the artist paints us as small components of a big collage in which shelter our loneliness and sufferings.
